I’ve finally made it to my own blog. I’ve wanted to do this for a while. And now that I was let go from a job I thought I loved, I have more time to figure stuff out and explore. Focus on me. Like Glennon Doyle reminds us, it is ok to be in the messy middle. So you, my fair reader are coming with me.

I’m getting back to what I loved when I was five. Animals, marine biology, orthopedics (I had a lot of ankle problems as a kid), the planet and all things fun (and not so fun). If I could be a professional student, I would. But since paying perpetual tuition is not an option, I’ve given myself some homework assignments. A little of this, a little of that. These pieces may feel scattered, but please know – I’m not trying to be everything to everyone – just everything to me.

There is a chance that maybe someone somewhere may enjoy this stuff too.

So I say to you – if you do come here and hang a while – I hope you leave a little enlightened and if I’m lucky, your day brightened.
